Planning, cooking, and serving meals according to the individual's dietary preferences and restrictions, as well as assistance with feeding if needed.
Accompanying the individual on errands, appointments, social outings, and recreational activities, as well as providing transportation as needed.
Companionship significantly enhances both mental and physical health, serving as a crucial means to combat isolation and loneliness.
Providing emotional support, empathy, and reassurance to the individual and their family members, particularly during times of illness, recovery, or adjustment to changing circumstances.

While live-in carers are on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week, everyone needs a break. Live-in carers are entitled to having at 14 hours per week to themselves, this is typically broken up to 2 hours each day. We will ensure that this break will line up with either a family member visiting or potentially a time when the client will go for a nap. If the client cannot be left alone and a family member cannot cover the break, then we could arrange a visiting carer at additional cost.
You are welcome to contact us for an informal chat to explore the Live in Care service further. If you decide that this service is suitable for you, we will arrange a pre-assessment visit to the person’s home who requires care.
